How to keep your social media accounts secure
A reminder after two high-profile Christian communicators got hacked.
Hello!
It’s been a while since I’ve shared here on Digital Wisdom. There are several reasons, but the biggest being I’ve just been super-tired and life has been full on with my day job, family and health issues. I’m hoping to be back more regularly soon. Thanks for sticking around!
Now to what I wanted to share…
Two high-profile Christian communicators Glen Scrivener and Pete Greig have recently been victims of cyber attacks. Glen tweeted (22 April) that his Facebook page was hacked and he lost access to it, despite appealing. And Pete's Instagram (including 40,000 followers) was hacked and lost yesterday (2 May), he reports.
I hope this isn't too much of a set back for them, as I really value their insights and encouragement. It must have been so frustrating and annoying for them.
This piece of content marketing from McAfee is quite helpful for taking steps to secure our social media accounts.
I hope it’s helpful for you today.
Thanks
Andrew.
